As a South West Meals on Wheels volunteer, you play a vital role in supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities by delivering nutritious meals and friendly check-ins right to their homes. Volunteers ensure that community members not only receive the food they need but also experience meaningful social connection and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hot, nutritious meals to clients on assigned routes.

  • Provide a brief wellness check and friendly conversation during each visit.

  • Report any concerns about clients’ well-being to Meals on Wheels coordinators.

  • Follow all safety, confidentiality, and food-handling guidelines.
